Welcome
Blue Door Press is an imprint for literary fiction, memoir, non-fiction and poetry: a book-loving community that we invite you to be part of. As an alternative to mainstream publishing, we can take control of producing and marketing books we believe in. Blue Door Press was officially launched on 14 September 2016. We celebrated with a party at the Seven Dials Club, Covent Garden, in London. You can read about that celebration and meet the founding authors in our News section, here. You can read articles and reviews, here.

Blue Door Press is delighted to announce the forthcoming publication of the third story in our online anthology, ALTOGETHER ELSEWHERE.
Ole Man River by Steve NiiKwashi Roberts will be published on Thursday 25 March
The project was launched with Learning to Breathe with Trees a compelling personal essay by highly-acclaimed author, Sarah Salway. In March 2020 she was hospitalised with Covid-19 and writes about her experience of finding a place close to home that has become an integral part of her recovery. In February we published Mary Woodward’s Turin & Pervese
Each month we’ll add a new piece to the anthology – work that will take you somewhere different, evoke a sense of the ‘elsewhere’, designed to help you perceive things from new and creative perspectives.
If you missed the launch, you can see the whole event on this video … hear readings by Sarah Salway, Mary Woodward and Steve NiiKwashi Roberts
